| Abattoir - Another major feature of the Curragh course. First erected in 1855 as ‘The Commissariat Butchery’. Now a fast fading memory. This dog leg left Par 4 invites the big hitters to have a go. A big drive over the dog leg leaves a short pitch to the elevated green. However, anything less that pin point accuracy will have you hacking out of the trees. The orthodox route offers a very realistic Par opportunity or even a birdie for those accurate with a medium iron. |
